TERMS OF PURCHASE: MAKING PURCHASES

THE FOLLOWING TERMS, IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THESE TERMS OF USE AND ANY VENDOR-SET TERMS DESCRIBED ON THE CURRENT DEALS PAGE OF THE GITK WEBSITE, WILL APPLY TO YOUR PURCHASES.

Vouchers

Issued When You Buy Services or Products Through the Site that You May Obtain Only by Visiting the Vendor-Designated Location

After you have selected the services/products that you wish to purchase and provided us with all of the required information, we will process your order and the intended recipient of the services/products will receive, via e-mail, a voucher for the services/products you purchased ("Voucher").
The Voucher will include, among other information, (i) a transaction code that must be provided to the vendor of the services/products in order to receive what has been purchased, (ii) the name and address of the authorized user of the Voucher, (iii) the date by which the Voucher must be used, (iv) the vendor location(s) at which the authorized user of the Voucher may receive the services/products, and (v) any other conditions that may apply to your purchase. Please note that the Voucher recipient may not receive the service/product at any location other than the vendor location(s) listed in the Voucher unless the vendor otherwise agrees.

In Order for Voucher Holders to Receive the Service/Product, She/He Must Do All of the Following:

In the case of purchased services, contact the vendor named in the Voucher, provide the unique transaction code specified in the Voucher, and make an appointment to visit the vendor;
In the case of purchased products, the Voucher holder must visit the vendor-designated location to receive the product. Products will not be shipped to Voucher holders;
Submit the Voucher to the vendor, in person, at the vendor-designated location;
Use the Voucher before the end of the Offer Period. The Offer Period is the period of time after the date of purchase of the applicable product or service during which the vendor has agreed the Voucher holder may book the service/product. For example, if the desired service is purchased June 15, 2008, and the Voucher states that the holder has 12 months to use it, the Voucher holder has until June 15, 2009 to make an appointment with the vendor for the services/products covered in the Voucher; and,
Bring a valid photo ID when visiting the vendor. For security, only the person whose name appears on the Voucher can use the Voucher.

Savings Pass
Issued When You Buy a Savings Pass

After you have selected the products or services for which you wish to purchase a Girl In The Know Savings Pass and provided us with all of the required information, we will process your order and the intended recipient will receive, via e-mail, a Savings Pass. The Savings Pass will include, among other information, (i) the expiration date for the Savings Pass, (ii) the name of the person who may use the Savings Pass, and (iii) the percentage discount that person will receive on the price of the vendor's applicable product or service when she/he uses the Savings Pass.

In Order To Receive The Discount on the Product or Service For Which The Saving Pass Applies, the Savings Pass Holder Must Do All of the Following:

Submit the Savings Pass to the vendor, in person, at the vendor-designated location;
Use the Savings Pass before the expiration date; and
Bring a valid photo ID when visiting the vendor. For security, only the person whose name appears on the Savings Pass can use it.

PRODUCTS YOU ORDER THAT WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOU OR THE PERSON YOU DESIGNATE.

In certain cases, products purchased through the Site will be shipped to the purchaser or the purchaser’s designated recipient. However, unless we specifically describe a product as one that will be shipped, the Voucher requirements described above will apply and you must visit the vendor location in order to receive the product.

Please be aware that the vendor, not GITK, is solely responsible for shipping your order.

Validity
Your Vouchers and/or Savings Passes are valid for your one-time use and may not be reused for any reason.

Trouble Making A Purchase
If you do not receive a Voucher Savings Pass, or order confirmation or have problems making a purchase through the Site, please contact us at support@dcgirlsintheknow.com.

Cancellations/Changes/Refunds
We cannot cancel or change your order once it has been placed. HOWEVER, IF YOU PURCHASE A PRODUCT THAT IS TO BE SHIPPED AND WE DO NOT RECEIVE NOTICE FROM THE VENDOR BY MIDNIGHT OF THE 10TH DAY AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED AND PAID FOR THAT THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SHIPPED, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL YOUR ORDER AND ISSUE A REFUND TO YOU OF THE AMOUNT PAID. THIS IS THE ONLY CASE WHERE GITK WILL ISSUE A REFUND.

Additionally, we do not offer or issue any refunds for Vouchers or Savings Passes that have not been used for any reason or for any products or services received from vendors. ALL CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, CREDITS AND REFUNDS ARE SOLELY CONTROLLED BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET BY THE VENDOR PROVIDING THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE OR OTHER OFFERING YOU WISH TO PURCHASE OR HAVE PURCHASED SO PLEASE CONSULT THE APPLICABLE VENDOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR CONTACT THE VENDOR DIRECTLY.

Payment Methods
We currently accept payment only by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Transfers
Vouchers and Savings Passes are non-transferable. Only the person designated in the applicable Voucher or Savings Pass may use the issued Voucher or Savings Pass.

Products and Services
As noted in our Terms of Use under "Third Party Product and Services," we are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not endorse, represent or warrant, the offerings of any third party services or products that your purchase through our Site. Further, we assume no responsibility or liability for any of those services or products or for any vendor acts or omissions.

YOU AGREE THAT IN ADDITION TO THE TERMS OF PURCHASE DESCRIBED ABOVE, ALL OTHER TERMS SET FORTH IN THE TERMS OF USE WILL APPLY TO YOUR PURCHASE.
